This dress has been worn and altered in the bust, ribs and waist. I also had an adjustable elastic band put into the garment to help keep the strapless dress it up. It was not shortened. The tiny hem at the bottom has torn away in some places but the rest of the gown has unfinished edges so it is an easy fix. This gown has not be cleaned so there is a little dirt at the very bottom where the gown hit the ground.
Gorgeous, timeless flowing silk organza gown with asymmetrical, bias cut raw edges. Flattering fit and flare style. Zipper back with 35 silk buttons covering the zipper that must be individually buttoned. Bustle installed. Chapel train. I'm 5'6" and wore 5 inch heels and the dress just swept the ground so it is about 5'11" in length so it would be easy to cut off the torn hem. I purchased a lovely bolero to wear at my reception (seen in one pic) that I'm willing to throw in at no extra cost as well as a Monique Lhuillier ribbon sash that I intended to wear but forgot to wear at the reception. It is a rich, sable color satin 2" ribbon that wraps around the waist several times (see pic). I paid $3200 for the dress from Couture Bride here in Las Vegas and $300 for the sash and $100 for the bolero from Etsy. If interested, I can send additional photos to you.
