This is a stunning Allure Bridal gown - only worn once with good luck in it!
I loved the shape of this dress, but loved beaded gowns, so I decided to hand bead this! It has thousands of Swarovski crystal beads, pearl beads, and mini glass beads all over it. The beading follows the pattern of the lace overlay on the bust, down the sides of the gown, and at the knees where the Mermaid starts to flow out. The hand beading took well over 200 hours which would have cost $4K probably, but I saved a ton by beading it myself just as you will!
For the measurements, I had to take the bust and waist in on the dress. I'm a 35-28-40 (no change on the hips in the dress). We also added cups but they can be easily removed. There is an inner corset as well to help hold you in place. For length, we removed 1.5" in front (I'm 5'5" and wore 3 inch heels).
Naturally, I received many compliments on the dress, especially in regards to the beading. If you're local to Chicago, you're welcome to try on the dress before purchasing. I know how difficult it can be to choose!
Update: I've added a few images of the beading up close. There are a few different lace patterns, and the beading matches it. Also, the dress was cleaned after our wedding and is currently in a box for storage. There is also one very small snag at the bottom of the dress, but that can be easily fixed with invisible thread. Finally, I also have a small lace belt that I beaded to match. It's not big, just a small one that gives it a little extra shimmer!
