this is such a beautiful skirt that on me had a bit of a drop waist. it's well designed in that it's slightly flared from the actual waist of the skirt so it sits nicely on whatever part of your waist or hips it hits... it can accommodate a woman's curves! :)
it's approximately 30" around, so it hangs a little lower on the waist if you're a medium. though if you're a curvier girl it will probably sit higher on the hips
it's gathered (sort of pleats) all around the bottom hem of the waistband so it's one of those skirts to be spun around in.
the copper detailing is lovely and goes all the way around the skirt, so it's not just in the front.
the zipper is along the side and about 7-8 inches long, so plenty of room - no wiggling in and out of this!
it's a cotton skirt with lovely beading that reflects beautifully in the light.
