Tradesy only allows the sale of authentic designer fashion, and sellers are required to honestly and accurately represent items in their listings - including all relevant information about size, color, style, and condition. If you feel the item you received was not sold as described or is inauthentic, log in to your Tradesy account within 4 days of delivery and file a Misrepresentation Claim. Note: you can also do the same if you believe you received the wrong item or wrong order. We cover return shipping for you to send the item to Tradesy HQ where our Returns and Authentication Team will carefully review and process your request. If you didn't receive exactly what you ordered, we'll refund you in full.
How to file a Misrepresentation Claim
Log in to Tradesy within 4 days of delivery. Checked out as guest?
Head to your Purchases page:
- On a browser: Click here.
- On the iOS app: Select Me on the bottom toolbar and then Purchases from the menu.
- On the Android app: Select the "Me" icon in the top right corner and then Purchases from the menu.
Locate the "Request Return" button by this item. Read here if your item was Final Sale.
Note: There may be a delay between when you physically receive the package and when the order updates to "Delivered". If the item only shows "Shipped on [date]", check back again at the end of the day.
After requesting a return, select the reason "Item was misrepresented - file a claim". The next screen will prompt you to select a reason and share a brief summary. If you'd like us to double check authenticity - but would otherwise would prefer to keep the item - simply mention this here, and we'll ship it back to you free of charge.
Once you submit your request, you'll see the printable shipping label.
Mail the item using our prepaid shipping label
You can print your free return shipping label directly from your Purchases page. If you cannot print from your device, save the label instead, and then email it to yourself or to a friend to print for you.
You may use any materials to ship your return. Carefully package the item and all its accompanying accessories - including the dust bag, box, authenticity card, etc. - and then tape our label on top.
Drop into a mailbox or the Priority Mail slot at the post office within 5 days. Everything must be received at Tradesy HQ within 10 days from the return request, or the item will not be accepted and returned to you.
Note: Return shipping fees will not be reimbursed if you choose to self-ship.
After receiving and processing your item, our Returns and Authentication team will follow up with you by email, so be sure you've provided us a valid one you regularly check.
