This is a vintage Hawaiian print dress, Kamehameha brand (a Hawaiian brand, not like Tommy Bahamas). I'm not 100% sure of the fabric, but I'd guess rayon. It's got a silky/cottony feel to it which is very nice in hot weather. I'm not sure the decade it came from, I got it at a vintage clothing shop in Honolulu. Based on the label I'm guessing it was made in the 90's (based on this: http://vintagefashionguild.org/label-resource/kamehameha/)
The length of the dress, from the bottom of the V-neck to the hem, measures 26.5". The width of the dress is 17" across at the very top, and about 15" at the waist's narrowest part. The bottom is about 35" wide.
I bought this in Hawaii. I've worn it maybe 7 or 8 times. It's wrinkled because I had it in a box for awhile. If you ask, I will iron it and take new pictures. In the pictures, you'll see how it hangs, and then me pulling out a corner from the front and back to see the pattern (how it'd look if it weren't so wrinkled). It's in good condition, but some small spots of the fabric are a little frayed on the front bottom and a few other small spots. It has a zipper in the back that works great.
It's a very flattering dress. Perfect for hot weather, going to the beach, or just lounging around in. It's very comfortable and the Hawaiian print is fun. This is your chance to own an affordable vintage piece of Hawaiiana. I looked around online and couldn't find anything Kamehameha for under $70, so $47 is a steal.
