There are one black ball and one tiny rhinestone missing
Very glamorous silk or satin clutch purse from the 1940s or 1950s by INGBER, with a very unique handle by Juliart. The purse has golden closure clasps, which release when you pull back the gold-toned bar. This is a feature that I haven't seen on a clutch before - so handy and ingenious! The bar itself has finely-etched designs, along with the raised "leaf" designs. The leaf designs have alternating black beads and clear rhinestones (2 leaves decorated with black, then 2 leaves decorated with clear rhinestones, et al). There is one black bead and one clear rhinestone missing, though it is extremely hard to see due to their size and the curved placement. The only other flaw I can find is a few small snags on the bottom of the purse and that the bottom brass feet have a patina. The inside of the bag is black, with two pockets. One pocket is zippered, and has black lining. The other pocket is open, and lined with a splash of eye-catching red satin. The back of the purse has a stiff loop of fabric - either to slide onto the hand for a more secure grip, or to attach the purse to a belt. This gorgeous clutch will add glamour to any little black dress!
