**A Great Discount Is Available!!---Click on my Name Above (Listed By...) to read about my Multi-Sale Discount Offer in my Closet Profile** This pristine, gleaming White Satin vintage vestment is beautifully handcrafted. NOTE: The vestment has never been worn; but will need to be ironed / steamed before the first initial wearing for optimun appearance). On heavy white satin, beautifully embroidered sheaves of wheat, grapes and the Cross burst with color and texture . Though interpretation of symbolism for Wheat and Grapes varies, it is most generally held that Wheat represents the bounty of God, love and charitable works and even souls to be saved. Grapes represent the Blood of Christ or fruit that accompanies abiding in the Father, and Communion. Created to last many lifetimes, this clergy stole is perfect for Clergy, independent Ordained Ministers, wedding ceremonies, or as a gift for your Pastor, Priest, or Minister. *** It is believed that the stole originated from a kind of liturgical napkin called an orarium (orarion) very similar to the sudarium, in fact, in many places the stole is called the orarium. Therefore it is linked to the napkin used by Christ in washing the feet of his disciples, and is a fitting symbol of the yoke of Christ, the yoke of service. NOTE: The vestment has never been worn; but will need to be ironed/steamed.
