Lori was inspired by this wedding, which we featured a few months ago, and hired bride Alissa to create her headpiece and add colorful tulle and a bustle to her gown. Check out Alissa’s Modern Nostalgia for more cool bridal designs.

Fun personalized details! Garters with the logos of the bride and groom’s favorite teams, and cowboy boots for the bride. How great would it be to throw those boots on with a pair of jeans and say, “I’m wearing my wedding shoes today”?

A colorful and playful dessert table features cookies baked by the bride and groom’s moms, representing Nebraska and Penn State. The moms then had to eat each others’ rival team cookies. These guys are serious sports fans!

Wildflowers in mason jars decorated the tables, and paper lanterns added a festive and chic touch. Both are perfect decorations for budget brides with miles of style.

Christine & Tyler’s Eco-friendly Autumn Wedding

The gorgeous hues of purple and green from this Autumn wedding sent over from Ashleigh Taylor Photography, made for a beautiful eco-chic celebration. Conservation was a very important theme for the couple, Christine and Tyler so they chose to have their wedding at the beautiful Temescal Gateway Park in Pacific Palisades, CA. Temescal park happens to be one of our favorite places in Los Angeles for hiking and enjoying nature and panoramic views of the city. It’s truly beautiful!

All the profits from Christine and Tyler’s wedding went back into funding for the park and conserving the surrounding environment. What an impressive and generous idea! We love this couple’s sustainable values, and the gorgeous wedding that reflected their unique personalities.

The different hues of purples and blues were stunning against her chic white dress.

The ceremony was intimate and naturally decorated by the beauty of the Park.

The couple used baby pictures and simple flower arrangements as their center pieces.

Growing more popular, and taller!, are the tiers of cupcakes and small deserts in place of a cake.

Chris & Ali’s DIY Country Wedding

The country boots, the rustic charm of the ranch, and the hand made dance floor all made for the perfect DIY Wyoming wedding for Chris and Ali. Everything from the coat hangers and bags for the bridesmaids, to the invites and water bottles, was made with love for family and friends. They even cooked their own food and filled mason jars with special goodies for guests!

Jennifer & Matthew’s Rustic Lakefront Wedding

Here’s a beautiful country wedding with a Southern twist that was sent over from Cameron + Kelly Studios. Jennifer and Paul’s wedding was an infusion of Champagne, blush and ivory roses with cotton blossoms and a relaxing charm surrounded by large pine trees. Amongst the background of trees and moss at the Mormon Lake Lodge in Northern Arizona, event planner Peak Events and Kim from KD Event Designs created elegance out of the rustic nature.

The couple’s favorite detail of their wedding were the love letters used throughout the ceremony and dinner. A collection of love letters written by Matthew were printed by the bride’s father and folded into each ivory napkin. Every guest had a different letter to read and it was by far, the most unique detail to their wedding.

Liviya and Colin’s Beautiful Bird-Themed Wedding

I’m so excited to share this absolutely beautiful wedding with you today! It was sent to us by Chad & Anastasia Photography, a married photog couple who met in India and take some of the most breathtaking, creative, artistic photos we’ve ever had the privilege of publishing.

Liviya and Colin are a super cool couple, and their wedding reflects their smart modern style. Colin writes about snowboarding for major magazines, and Liviya is a doctor. They got married at the historic Golden Gardens Bathhouse in Seattle, an amazing picturesque location with a serene forested hillside to the east, and a beautiful sandy beach to the west that looks over the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.

Liviya’s stunning and unique dress is by Lena Medoyeff, a Portland Oregon business with a commitment to social and environmental responsibility. Lena dresses are locally made of fair trade silks from a family run mill at the foothills of the Himalayas.
