Sustainability, wearability, and eco-chic style from the Wrapture Collection from SEAMS
“I know the bridesmaids dresses I picked aren’t cheap, but you’ll totally wear it again!”
We’ve all had to grin and bear it when the bride we love chooses a bridesmaids dress we hate. These frocks can be unflattering, uncomfortable, or just look so “bridesmaidy” that there’s no way you’d wear them to another event. And when you wear a dress just once, you’re not just wasting money – you’re wasting the valuable natural and human resources it took to produce the garment.
Luckily, ethical fashion designer Harper Della-Piana of SEAMS has come to the rescue, with her new Wrapture Collection!
Designed for both brides and bridesmaids, the Wrapture Collection is designed with classic, silhouettes, sumptuous natural fabrics, and vibrant, eye-popping color. All of the dresses wrap on and off, so you won’t have to worry about inconvenient and expensive fittings, and your dress will always fit no matter when you choose to re-wear it. And the best part? These dresses truly are reusable– any bride or bridesmaid would be thrilled to sport one of these styles to another wedding or event.
Harper Della-Piana is a former costume designer for film, television, and celebrity clientele, who found her passion creating custom ethical couture dresses for brides and bridal parties. All SEAMS gowns and accessories are handmade in Della-Piana’s LED-lit New England studio. No industrial machinery is used, all packaging is recycled and reusable, and she uses a variety of natural fibers and organic materials to fabricate each dress.
Wrapture dresses come in a range of petite, regular and plus sizes. SEAMS will make you any combination of top style, skirt style, and color. Show your support for this fantastic new eco line by visiting SEAMS online and liking Wrapture’s page on Facebook!
