An elegant oceanfront affair with pitch-perfect details in our favorite colors of the season
Jordan & Josh’s wedding at The Ocean Institute in Dana Point was one of those perfectly coordinated affairs where every detail is delightful and the elegance feels effortless. I’m so impressed by the innovative event planner Jesi Haack, who coordinated the day and created the flowers, table decor, fabric runners, and other super-stylish details. The event was photographed by the inspiringly talented husband and wife team at Stephanie Williams Photography.

Jordan’s unfussy elegant bridal look is to die for, and that flower feather fascinator looks soooooo luxurious.

She wore sunshine on her feet!

Whoever’s idea it was to wrap the bouquets in fabric by iconic textile designer Orla Kiely is a genius. Really.

This is one of my favorite tabletops ever. The minimal use of flowers is budget- and eco-friendly, and those antique-style lanterns lend a chic, casual elegance to the room. Notice the texture of the tablecloth and napkins and how they adds richness and contrast to the relatively simple setting.

More stylish fabric swatches, along with candles and whimsical table numbers, add to the room’s warmth and beauty. Smart event design like this puts all those giant gaudy centerpieces and satin tablecloths to shame, and proves that less can be so much more.

Thanks again to Stephanie and Isaac for for sharing these delightful images with us. We’re endlessly impressed by their gorgeous work! Go check out more of their incredible wedding photography at Stephanie Williams Photography.

This is SO beautiful. Love that bride’s hair and accessory, and the pretty table numbers. Makes me wish I were friends with them so I could’ve been there!
